 COLFAX, North Carolina --- April 6, 2009 --- Green Resource acquired the assets, equipment, inventory, and 33,600 sq. ft. of leased warehouse and office space of GroGreen Solutions, LLC, a Charlotte-based company, which transacted business in the Green, Erosion Control, and Agriculture Industry.  The company's owner and all of its employees will join Green Resource.  The terms and conditions of the transaction are undisclosed.
 
"We are simply following our long term strategic plan to grow our core business, both organically and by acquisition." stated Jonathan Annas, a Green Resource principal.  "In this instance, we have combined our resources, to increase our customer base and leverage our economies of scale."
 
Todd McPeak, a Green Resource principal adds, "Even in a difficult economy, we are committed to enhancing customer service; this new location improves our ability to serve the southern and western region of North Carolina, as well as, central South Carolina."
 
Founded in 1993, Green Resource markets and sells professional-grade fertilizer, chemicals, turfgrass seed, and erosion control products from four warehouses. The company serves golf courses, lawn care operators, grounds maintenance companies, nurseries, greenhouses, professional landscaping firms, and lawn & garden retail stores throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.   Green Resource is a privately-held, limited liability corporation.
 
Green Resource was depicted in the 2008 Book of Lists: Fast 50 (#5), a ranking of the fastest growing companies in the Triad area (Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem) of North Carolina.
